A hands-on, full-day program focused on practical AI workflows for tax and accounting professionals. Participants learn to safely use agentic tools to automate repetitive tasks, collate and organise client information, stay on top of deadlines and correspondence, and accelerate research and drafting without risking client data.

- Foundation: AI landscape and specializations, privacy and data security (consumer vs team/enterprise versions), when to use AI vs plugins
- Model Selection: Understanding reasoning vs non-reasoning models and which to use for different tasks
- Data Analysis: How AI processes spreadsheets, data visualization, plotting trends and extrapolations
- Personalisation: Configuring AI assistants with your role, knowledge, and professional needs
- Career Development: Mapping career paths and upskilling plans with AI assistance
- Deep Research: Using advanced research tools for legislative analysis and tax law updates
- Multi-Format Inputs: Working with documents, images, and voice inputs; extracting data from various formats including poor-quality scans
- Agentic Automation: Automating web-based applications (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) with appropriate safeguards
- Security: Understanding and defending against prompt injection attacks
- Client Monitoring: Setting up automated searches and alerts for client news and industry updates

Technical Requirements:
- ChatGPT Teams version or higher ($30/person/month - not included in course fee)
- Laptop with stable internet connection
- Access to Zoom (for remote delivery)
- Second monitor highly recommended for following demonstrations
- No client data used - all exercises use demo environments (Xero, QuickBooks sandboxes)
